Test drive..

Three years ago dad bought a Lexus 300LS. So he has a list of about 5 cars he wants to test drive. An Infiniti, a couple Acura, BMW, and a Lexus. Now when he first told me he wanted a new car it was while driving home from the cottage a few weeks ago. So I asked him.. "If you could have any car new or old style, what would it be?" We talked a little about some cars we were passing, then he say "Ok. Car I want. A BMW 525." I was like well then "Dad. Get it." Its always on the list of cars we look at and if its the car hes always wanted. Brainless right? He says to me "But I don't really like the new style, and Larry has one." Because Larry has one? Dad come on! (Larry is a family friend) So I told him get one thats a year or two newer than Larrys. He laughed. So, anyway. Last week Dad need to get a tune up and such on his Lexus. Now what Lexus does is, they come with a loaner car and pick up your car so it doesn't interupt your day. So I said "dad! why don't you ask them too bring you one of the cars that you want to test drive??" He didn't say much to that. So 2 weeks later to yesterday.. Mom phones me and tells me that dad is test driving some car and he has the dealership bringing them to him. Monday was one car, i'm not sure what it was, i was at the cottage. So I phoned him up at work and said "Hey dad! you wanna come pick me up after work? lol" So he did. Last nights car was the Acura RL Now I'm no car crazy, but I do like my car. So I took it for a spin with dad. Wow! the new things they come up with every three years on these cars! Its 4 wheel drive, pretty good handling. extremely smooth and set on the road. It has that dual transmission. so on the way up to the meadowlands i did autoumatic on the way home dad told me to try the manual. it has the paddles for it on the wheel. I was having so much fun doing that! Its amazing how its set up so you can't mess up the car. like if i come to a stop in 5th i can keep driving! lol I had so much fun driving it in manual! Maybe cause its that my car is manual and I'm just used to it but omg the fun! So tonight is the BMW 525i. I'll let you know what the differences are. I loved driving it 3 years ago and I'm sure nothing in that will change. But we'll see.
