Happy Easter Everyone!

Sunday night. it was a good one. had a really laid back day. cleaned the house through the week so i didnt have to do that today. just vegged, watched a little tv, started to write a letter to Cae. my awesome super cool neighbours, came over gave lisa and i some lindt chocolate and an easter hug. theyre so cute! then laura came over and watched some tv. and then lisa, laura and i all headed over to mom and dads for easter dinner. uncle ed, aunt jackie, uncle ron, larry and charlotte all came over as well. it was a really nice night. on top of that i didnt have to drive so i could drink. that was great! lol dad just kept giving me more and more! and to see larry and charlotte was awesome! larry was/is a friend of my moms from growing up. so close we call him a cousin. from the first day i met him we just clicked and it was great. we have this thing with chocolate almonds. the first day we met, mom had some chocolate covered almonds. i passed them around. after no one wanted any, larry and i just devoured them all. it came to the last one and i just popped it in my mouth. after doing so larry piped up and said i wanted that one! so i took it out of my mouth and passed it to him and yes, he ate it. so over the years, everytime i see him i think of ways to do things to the choclate almonds. one year i made mice out of them, another i might suck all the chocolate off them etc. today i wasnt on the ball and didnt get a chance to get any but im going to have to figure something out and send them to him. the second greatest thing of the evening was dinner. mom did a "taditional" polish/ukraine dinner and it was great! pyrogies, cabbage rolls, borsch, ham, and that gelled pork and egg stuff. never been a favorite of mine, and i can't spell the actual name of it so im not going to try. but it was a really nice evening. im not sure if it was the fact that dad kept giving me drinks that made it that more special but it was just really nice. im also excited cause i talked to charlotte about this idea for a dessert that i've been thinking about and she said it was a great idea so im going to try it sample it on her. i'll let you know what it is after i made lol. so i took lots of pics, and hopfully tomorrow ill get to moms an upload them off the camera and maybe have some pics up tomorrow. im of to bed to listen to some music. i dunno if ill fall asleep or not but heres hoping! hope everyone had a good easter! 2 weeks til cuba!
